Looking for a compact SUV? How about the 2017 Nissan Rogue. It has comfortable seating, powerful performance and a spacious interior. And it comes in three trims: the S, the SV Hybrid and the SL Hybrid. All of them have 170 horsepower, have an EPA estimated MPG of 26 in a city and 33 on a highway and seat 5. There are some differences, however. Which one is right for your needs?
1. Nissan Rogue S Trim
The base S trim, the least expensive one, features LED Daytime Running Lights, a RearView Monitor and a “Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System.” In addition, it has an Eco Mode that can be turned on with the press of a button and boost your fuel economy.
2. Nissan Rogue SV Trim
The 2017 Rogue SV has all the features of the S, plus some additional ones. These include a Blind Spot Warning and a Rear Cross Traffic Alert, along with a Nissan Intelligent Key® with Push Button Ignition.
The SV can also come as a hybrid. This trim has an Energy Flow Gauge and an MPG of 33 in a city.
3. Nissan Rogue SL Trim
The SL, meanwhile, builds off the SV. Among its exclusive features are a Motion Activated Liftgate and NissanConnectSM with Navigation and Mobile Apps. The latter allows you to bring up apps from your smartphone on to the car’s display screen. There is also an SL Hybrid option available.
