Nissan Unveils New Upgrades for 2018 Frontier

2018 Nissan Frontier Updates
Since its introduction back in 2004, Nissan’s Frontier has been one of the company’s “go-to” models when it comes to solid mid-size trucks. For 2018, this longtime favorite (which you can check out at Peruzzi Nissan) is getting some snazzy new upgrades. For starters, look for cruise control, A/C, a rearview camera. 5.0-inch screen and Bluetooth connectivity. While the base-model engine remains a 152-hp 2.5 liter I-4 paired with either five-speed manual or automatic transmission, a more powerful 261-hp 4.0-liter V6 engine is available on upgraded models. The Crew Cab model of the new 2018 Nissan Frontier is also offering a jazzy “Midnight Edition” that features black 18-inch alloy wheels, step rails, door handles and side mirror covers. There’s also a gloss black grille, black badges and body-colored front and rear bumpers. Your three exterior colors are Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic and Glacier White. Speaking of the Crew Cab, Nissan’s Frontier will offer 12 different variations, from the base model Frontier S Crew Cab with two-wheel drive and six-speed manual to the top-of-the-line SL Crew Cab with automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. Pricing ranges from $24,300 to $36,150. On the more modest end of the price spectrum is the upgraded Nissan Frontier King Cab line. The economical S King Cab 4x2 features an inline four-cylinder engine and five-speed manual transmission, and can be had for a shade under $19K. The highest-end model, the five-speed automatic Frontier King Cab comes with four-wheel drive and can be tricked out with the Pro-4X trim at $32,780 MSRP. Whichever model you select from Nissan’s 2018 Frontier line, you’ll know you’re choosing one of the most reliable mid-size trucks on the road – and the exciting updates guarantee that it will remain a favorite. Nissan Rogue vs Pathfinder

Nissan Rogue or Pathfinder: Which One Makes More Sense for Families?

Two of Nissan's most popular SUVs, but two very different vehicles. If you're a family in Bensalem or Langhorne trying to decide between the 2026 Nissan Rogue and the 2026 Nissan Pathfinder, the choice isn't as obvious as it looks on the surface. And getting it wrong means either paying for space you don't need or realizing too late that you've outgrown what you bought. In this blog, we cover how these two compare across the decisions that actually matter for families. How Do the 2026 Nissan Rogue and Pathfinder Compare on Space and Seating? This is where the two SUVs split most clearly. The 2026 Nissan Rogue is a compact SUV with seating for five. With the rear seats folded, maximum cargo volume reaches 74.1 cubic feet, which is genuinely practical for a family of four with gear, groceries, and sports equipment. It's a well-proportioned vehicle that handles Pennsylvania parking lots and school drop-off lanes without drama. The 2026 Nissan Pathfinder is a three-row midsize SUV with seating for up to eight passengers. Maximum cargo volume reaches 80.5 cubic feet with all rows folded. The Pathfinder's EZ FLEX second-row seating system lets you access the third row without removing car seats, a feature that sounds minor until you have a toddler in row two and a grandparent trying to climb into row three. The Pathfinder adds a third row and seats up to eight passengers, giving larger families more seating flexibility. Feature 2026 Nissan Rogue 2026 Nissan Pathfinder Seating 5 passengers Up to 8 passengers Max Cargo Volume 74.1 cu ft 80.5 cu ft Rows 2 3 2nd Row Access Standard EZ FLEX (no seat removal needed) What Are the Engine and MPG Differences Between the Rogue and Pathfinder? Feature 2026 Nissan Rogue 2026 Nissan Pathfinder Engine 1.5L VC-Turbo® 3-cylinder 3.5L V6 Horsepower 201 hp @ 5,600 rpm 284 hp (295 hp on Rock Creek trim) Torque 225 lb-ft 259 lb-ft (270 lb-ft on Rock Creek) Transmission Xtronic CVT® 9-speed automatic EPA-estimated MPG (FWD) 29 city / 36 highway / 32 combined 21 city / 27 highway / 23 combined for SV, SL and Platinum 2WD Towing capacity up to 1,500 lbs up to 6,000 lbs when properly equipped; SV and SL are rated at 3,500 lbs standard The Nissan Rogue vs Pathfinder fuel economy difference is meaningful over a year of driving. A Langhorne family putting 15,000 miles annually on a Rogue at 32 MPG combined vs a Pathfinder at 23 MPG combined would use roughly 469 vs 652 gallons of gas per year, a difference of approximately $776 at current Pennsylvania gas prices (~$4.30/gallon). If you're towing a boat to the Delaware River, hauling a camper up to the Poconos, or pulling a utility trailer for weekend projects, the Pathfinder's 6,000-lb towing capacity is in a different league from the Rogue's 1,500 lbs. Which Is the Better Family SUV: Rogue or Pathfinder? There's no single answer, but there is a clearer framework. The Rogue makes more sense if: Your household is five people or fewer Fuel economy is a genuine priority on your daily commute You want a compact vehicle that's easy to park, maneuver, and drive daily Towing isn't a regular need The Pathfinder makes more sense if: You have three or more children, or regularly carry extended family You need three-row seating with real second-row access flexibility You tow a boat, camper, or trailer with any regularity You're willing to trade fuel economy for the added space and power What About Safety? How Do the Rogue and Pathfinder Compare? Both the 2026 Nissan Rogue and 2026 Nissan Pathfinder come standard with Nissan Safety Shield® 360, a suite that includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, and rear automatic braking. ProPILOT Assist, Nissan's hands-on highway driving assistance system with adaptive cruise control and lane centering,  is available on both models and is a genuine differentiator for families doing regular highway driving between Bensalem, Langhorne, and Philadelphia. It is located at 165 Lincoln Hwy, Fairless Hills, PA 19030, conveniently serving drivers from Bensalem and Langhorne. Test driving both back-to-back is the most efficient way to settle this, the size difference is immediately obvious the moment you load a family into each. FAQs Is the Nissan Rogue or Pathfinder better for a family of five? For a family of five that does not need a third row, the Rogue offers comfortable seating and better EPA fuel economy than the Pathfinder. The Pathfinder's third row becomes the differentiator once you have six or more regular passengers. How much more fuel does the Pathfinder use vs the Rogue? At 23 MPG combined (Pathfinder) vs 32 MPG combined (Rogue FWD), a family driving 15,000 miles per year would use approximately 168 more gallons of fuel annually in the Pathfinder. Can the 2026 Nissan Pathfinder tow a boat? Yes. The 2026 Pathfinder can tow up to 6,000 lbs when properly equipped, sufficient for most recreational boats and campers. The Rogue is rated at up to 1,500 lbs. Do both the Rogue and Pathfinder come with AWD? AWD is available on both. On the Rogue, AWD adds $1,400 to the base price. On the Pathfinder, Intelligent 4WD is available across multiple trims and standard on Rock Creek. Where can I test drive the 2026 Nissan Rogue and Pathfinder near Bensalem, PA? Peruzzi Nissan at 165 Lincoln Hwy, Fairless Hills, PA 19030 is the closest Nissan dealer,  approximately 12 minutes from Bensalem and 10 minutes from Langhorne on Route 1.
