On the outside the changes are already very apparent with the 2016 model having a sturdier appearance with lower more muscular front end with the V-motion grille and a new bumper. PA 2016 Altima The headlights are redesigned and signature LED boomerang headlights are available. In the back end, the 2016 model receives a new rear fascia and lower, wider taillights. Aerodynamics are improved with the added underbody covers and newly designed windshield made from laminated glass designed to create a quieter cabin and help promote easier use of the Bluetooth communication and voice recognition features.

Moving inside the new 2016 model, you have a brand new C-stack and center console with the simple ease of use in mind. The base trim gets an improvement with a standard 5-inch color audio display that wasn’t available in the previous 2015-year model. Siri Eyes-Free System is added to help keep your eyes on the road while keeping in touch using hands-free voice connection to Siri commands.

To recap a bit. Basically, the 2016 Nissan Altima is a brand new version of the loved Altima. A bump up in the gas mileage from 38 MPG in the 2015 model to 39 MPG isn’t a huge difference but still a slight one at best. The 2016 model comes with many advantages the 2015 does not have such as: the standard 5-inch color audio display, Siri Eyes Free, and Intelligent Cruise Control. The outer appearance is revamped with Signature Boomerang Headlights and simple but effective interior changes.
