2017 Nissan Armada SUV of the Year

In our last blog we talked about Nissan’s compact and stylish Rogue Sport SUV and its many great features. If you’re looking for something a bit bigger, look no further than the Nissan Armada, Nissan’s full-size SUV. The 2017 Nissan Armada was recently selected as the “SUV of the Year” by the magazine Popular Mechanics in its Automotive Excellence issue. The Popular Mechanics editorial staff drives every vehicle in a segment and picks only one winner, so what did they love about the completely redesigned Armada?

The Armada is a great vehicle for families on the go. It features class-exclusive available safety and security features including Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Intervention, Backup Collision Intervention, and AroundView Monitor with Moving Object Detection. These safety features will keep your family safe and secure during long road trips together, as well as your everyday driving.

In addition to the great safety features, your family will love the three-row seating and redesigned interior. This new interior includes available premium leather-appointed seating, with beautifully crafted stitching and piping. The wood-tone trim and metallic accents that feature prominently throughout the vehicle add a premium touch to every control panel. The spacious three-row seating provides lots of room for children and adults alike.

While the Armada is often seen as a family car, Popular Mechanics bestowed high praise on its ruggedness, strength, and durability, noting the brand new 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine and 7-speed automatic transmission. The new Nissan Armada also offers best-in-class maximum power, topping out at 390 horsepower.

Most importantly, all these great features are available at a great price. The editors at Popular Mechanics note that “the Armada delivers a luxury-SUV experience at a Nissan price.” If you’re interested in learning more about the 2017 Nissan Armada, visit Peruzzi Nissan at 165 Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills, PA. We also have a great selection of new, pre-owned, and certified pre-owned vehicles at great prices. Come see us today and get into a brand new Nissan for less at Peruzzi Nissan!

Nissan GTR Track Edition

The Nissan GT-R has become famous over the last decade or so as a supercar that can outperform even the highest-end exotic vehicles at just a fraction of the cost. Until recently, there were only two versions of the GT-R available – the $110,000 Premium and the $175,000 NISMO (Nissan Motorsport) edition. They’re both stellar vehicles, but if you want the NISMO experience without the NISMO price, you’re in luck. Introducing the new 2017 Nissan GT-R Track Edition, offering the best of the two previous GT-R models at a happy medium of $128,000.

The GT-R Track Edition made its debut last month at the New York Auto Show, and though it keeps the same 565 horsepower engine as the Premium model, it’s the NISMO specs that truly make this vehicle shine. It boasts the same re-tuned suspension and Bilstein dampers as a NISMO, as well as the same 20-inch forged aluminum-alloy wheels with NISMO-spec tires, which gives the vehicle its exceptional control and grip to the road.

If you’re debating whether it’s worth it or not to spend the extra $47,000 to have the true NISMO engine, you’re probably worrying too much. “I certainly didn’t find it wanting for power,” writes Tim Stevens of CNET.com, “[and] unlike the NISMO the Track Edition still feels very much like a normal car when driven at normal speeds.” With the GT-R Track Edition, you’d still be getting the style and upgraded performance of a NISMO, but with the everyday practicality of the Premium.

The 2017 Nissan GT-R Track Edition will be available for purchase this summer, but unfortunately only through special orders. However, whether you’re looking for a high-end special order, a quality pre-owned vehicle, or a lease for something new, Peruzzi Nissan has got you covered. Take a trip over to Peruzzi Nissan and check out the 400+ vehicles we currently have in stock, and be sure to ask about the exciting new GT-R Track Edition while you’re here. Stop by today!

2017 Nissan Sentra NISMO

Up until recently, Nissan’s NISMO line of vehicles had been too much of a pricey niche option for the average driver, but that’s all about to change. Introducing the new 2017 Nissan Sentra NISMO, Nissan’s very first “mainstream, affordable” NISMO model available in the United States. With its debut this past December at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Nissan unleashed a bold new Sentra designed for drivers who want more excitement in their day-to-day travels.

NISMO refers to Nissan’s tuning, motorsports, and performance division (its name being an abbreviation of “Nissan Motorsport”), which in the past has released beefed-up versions of the Nissan Skyline and Silvia. The new Sentra NISMO comes with re-tuned suspension and an upgraded interior that includes track-inspired front seats, 370Z-inspired steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara and leather, and carbon-fiber interior accents. The vehicle comes in your choice of Brilliant Silver, Aspen White, Super Black, or Gun Metallic.

Along with the new 2017 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo, the Sentra NISMO runs on a 1.6 liter four-cylinder direct injection gasoline engine, allowing for 188 horsepower with a six-speed manual transmission. If you prefer automatic, get the Xtronic CVT Transmission at the same cost, which features a manual mode for when you’re feeling adventurous. Moving everything along are 18” NISMO aluminum-alloy wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport tires, which will be included on the four-door model.

Though the Nissan Sentra has been around in one form or another since 1982, there’s never been a better time to check one out than today. Stop by Peruzzi Nissan to give the new 2017 Nissan Sentra NISMO a test drive and feel the excitement for yourself. Make your next car a Nissan from Peruzzi Nissan, and turn even the shortest drives into adventures.

The new 2017 Nissan Armada has created quite a stir. Previously, Armada models helped Nissan become the fastest growing brand in North America for 2016, and already sales for the 2017 vehicle are up 125%, so it looks like Nissan may keep growing for at least another year. In addition, the 2017 Armada has received rave reviews from multiple outlets and was chosen as a “2017 Must Test Drive Award” winner by Autotrader. What makes the new Armada such a “must-have” vehicle? Let’s take a closer look.

First of all, the 2017 Armada received a redesign. Nissan took parts of their Patrol model, originally created as a family vehicle, and incorporated them into the new Armada, a rugged SUV. The vehicle is 17.4 feet long and 6.3 feet tall, meaning that drivers will look down at other cars on the highway. Plus, up to seven passengers can enjoy a spacious interior.

Itechpost.com reports that with 390 horsepower, the new Armada has best-in-class maximum hp, an EPA estimated MPG of 14 in cities and 19 on highways and can tow up to 8,500 pounds. It also boasts a range of safety features, including side airbags, anti-lock brakes and vehicle dynamic control, which helps you stay in command while driving.

Whether you’re looking for a rugged SUV or a family vehicle, visit Peruzzi Nissan and see for yourself why you “must test drive” the new 2017 Nissan Armada. We have a large selection of models, so you can find the perfect one. Contact Peruzzi Nissan today and schedule your test drive.

2017 Nissan Murano vs 2017 Nissan Rogue

Thinking of getting a new crossover SUV? Come to Peruzzi Nissan and check out the 2017 Nissan Rogue or 2017 Nissan Murano. Both are great options, but offer two different driving experiences. For example, the Rogue is a clean, versatile, family-friendly compact crossover SUVwith a 2.5-liter Inline 4-cylinder engine. The 2017 Murano, on the other hand, is a more luxurious, mid-size crossover SUV with more power in its 3.5-liter V6 engine. There are also other differences.

The 2017 Rogue offers better fuel economy, getting 26 miles per gallon in cities and 33 on highways. The Murano can get 21 in cities and 28 on highways. When it comes to horsepower, though, the Murano packs a punch. Thanks to its engine, it has 260 hp, while the Rogue has 170 hp.

For cost, the 2017 Rogue is slightly cheaper, with an MSRP of $23,280, compared to $29,740 for a Murano.

These two vehicles also have some similarities. The Murano and Rogue have nearly the same cargo volume—67 cubic feet in the Murano, 70 in the Rogue—and they can fit 5 people (although with the Family Package for the Rogue, that goes up to 7). Other features they have in common include driver Attention Alert, Blind Spot Warning, Forward Emergency Brakes and more. Both also have optional All-Wheel Drive.

So, whether you’re looking for something with power under its hood or a family-friendly vehicle, visit Peruzzi Nissan. We have a wide selection of 2017 Nissan Rogues and 2017 Nissan Muranos and can answer any questions you have. Stop by today!

When it comes to purely electric vehicles, it’s difficult to top the Nissan LEAF. It’s compact, quiet and can get you to where you’re going. But what makes the LEAF stand apart from other electric vehicles? Let’s take a closer look.

First, there’s the main attraction, its electric battery. The 30 kWh lithium ion battery can quickly charge so you’re not stuck waiting around. You can even charge it overnight, just like a phone or laptop. And if you’re far from home when you need a recharge, Nissan LEAF® NissanConnectSM technology can help locate stations along your drive.

Just one charge can give you a range of 107 miles. While that might sound unimpressive, consider this: Nissanusa.com reports that on average, Americans drive less than 37 miles each day. Drivers can go practically three days before it’s time to charge up.

There are three trims available, all with 107 horsepower and 5 seats. The most basic one, the S, starts at just over $30,500, and gives you the latest innovative technology, like Push Button Start and a Hands-free Phone System. The SV adds to the S, new features including navigation, mobile apps for smart phones and a more efficient charger. The final Nissan LEAF trim, the SL, has heated, leather-appointed seating, as well as LED lights for fog.

You can even customize your Nissan LEAF so it’s just the way you want it. If you want extra safety, the LEAF has a clear charging port protector, a rear bumper protector and more.

If you’re looking for a great electric vehicle, come to Peruzzi Nissan and test drive a new 2017 Nissan LEAF. Contact us today and see its capabilities for yourself.

2016 Nissan Altima Redesign

The new 2021 Nissan Altima has arrived at Peruzzi Nissan. The 2020 and 2021 Nissan Altima models improved upon the 2019 edition, which significantly redesigned the Altima from as far back as 2015. Looking for a compact SUV? How about the 2017 Nissan Rogue. It has comfortable seating, powerful performance and a spacious interior. And it comes in three trims: the S, the SV Hybrid and the SL Hybrid. All of them have 170 horsepower, have an EPA estimated MPG of 26 in a city and 33 on a highway and seat 5. There are some differences, however. Which one is right for your needs?

1.  Nissan Rogue S Trim

The base S trim, the least expensive one, features LED Daytime Running Lights, a RearView Monitor and a “Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System.” In addition, it has an Eco Mode that can be turned on with the press of a button and boost your fuel economy.

2. Nissan Rogue SV Trim

The 2017 Rogue SV has all the features of the S, plus some additional ones. These include a Blind Spot Warning and a Rear Cross Traffic Alert, along with a Nissan Intelligent Key® with Push Button Ignition.

The SV can also come as a hybrid. This trim has an Energy Flow Gauge and an MPG of 33 in a city.

3. Nissan Rogue SL Trim

The SL, meanwhile, builds off the SV. Among its exclusive features are a Motion Activated Liftgate and NissanConnectSM with Navigation and Mobile Apps. The latter allows you to bring up apps from your smartphone on to the car’s display screen. There is also an SL Hybrid option available.

2017 Nissan Altima

The base 2017 Nissan Altima is already a state-of-the-art vehicle, but you can further stylize and personalize it with accessories. Here are four exterior accessories to help maximize convenience and protection in your Altima.

1. Rear Bumper Protector
There are two versions of the rear bumper protector: clear and chrome. Both prevent scratches and dings that occur when loading cargo into the back. Plus, both have an easy, no-drill installation process that your dealership can complete for you.

2. Splash Guards
Also dealer-installed, these four guards prevent your Altima from getting muddy. In addition, they protect your vehicle’s finish from any debris that could scratch it.

3. Remote Engine Start
Commuting in the morning during these frigid months can be a nightmare. Unless you start your car a bit before you leave, you’ll be freezing until the heat kicks in. Thanks to remote engine starters, you can start your engine and heat from the comfort of your home. This will allow your car to run for 10 minutes before it shuts off, but that can be stretched into 20 minutes with an extended feature. Plus, can also be useful for starting AC during the Summer months.

4. External Ground Lighting
These four lights, positioned between the front and rear tires, illuminate the area beneath and around your car. They can help you find your way in the dark or find any dropped items, and automatically turn off when you open a door.

So, whether you’re trying to find an Altima or one of its accessories, come to Peruzzi Nissan. We offer a large selection of Nissan vehicles at affordable prices. Contact us and start the car buying process today.
